Good Morning Holy Spirit by Benny Hinn

Brief summary of Good Morning Holy Spirit by Benny Hinn.

3 main ideas from the Book:

 1. Can I know you, Holy Spirit?

Benny starts by explaining how he encountered the holy spirit. He explained that the holy spirit is the third person of the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are the same God. They manifest through the Holy Spirit. We hear from God through the interpretation of the spirit within us. The spirit speaks in our soul. The problem now is how to know if it is the Holy Spirit. Because we also hear worldly things within us. How do you know the Holy Spirit? By praying and seeking to hear from the Holy Spirit. Note it is an auto-pilot but a long-life attempt.

2. How do you know that you have received the Holy Spirit?

Once you have confessed your sins, receive the sacrament of baptism and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. You will receive the holy spirit, and these seven gifts will start to manifest in your life. They are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety and fear of the Lord. These gifts will help you to recognize the voice of the lord, get more understanding of the world and distinguish between good and bad.

3. How to pray:

  •  Confess your sins.
  • Acknowledge what God has done in the past.
  • Add your request.
  • Admiration: (by saying you love God above all things)
  • Intersection: invite the holy to teach how to pray.
  • Finally thanksgiving and giving praise to the lord.

2.   Impression

This is the first book I read this year. It is a gift from my cousin. It has really increased my knowledge about the holy spirit. I want to continue improving my spiritual life. I think this is the right way to start this year.

3.   Who Should Read It?

I recommend this book to all Christians. It will help us to improve our spiritual lives and serve God as one of our purposes here on earth.

4.    How the Book Changed My Life?

This book has made me to always seek assistance from the holy spirit in any decision-making. For instance, I am praying for the Holy Spirit to help me in my project to be more productive with the little time I have.

5.   ️ My Top 3 quote:

1. Paul was right when he said, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit" (Eph. 6:18).

2. "Good morning, Holy Spirit," I knew He was present with me in the room. Not only was I filled with the Spirit that morning, but I also received a fresh infilling every time I spent time in prayer.

3. "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, / Says the LORD of hosts" (Zech.4:6).
