The purpose Driven Life By Rick Warren

The Purpose Driven Life By Rick Warren.

1.    The Book in 3 Sentences.

Everything starts with God, He created us with a purpose. Our duty is to find out the purpose of our existence. God created us to love him above all things, and serve him. Our purpose is to live life in accordance with His commandments.

We should render service (s) to the growth of the church. We should do our work whether as Engineers or Doctors, do your work to the glory of God. God works mysteriously, He can change your personality even though you are weak. God works in a mysterious way, He knows our weaknesses  and he wants to be aware of them so that when He makes us strong we will appreciate His good work.

We should always share our experiences. Learn from Apostle Paul, he shared his encounter with God and his work on earth through the different letters he wrote in the Bible. Millions of people received his message, which has changed many people’s lives.

2. Impressions:

This book encourages me to start keeping a spiritual journal, to take note of my spiritual activities, and to  focus more on heavenly things.

3. Who Should Read It?

I think all  christians and non-believers should read this great book.

4. How the Book has changed My life:

This book has made me know that earth is preparation for eternity and I should think more on heavenly race.

It reminds me that even though I am not a Priest nor a Pastor I can still share the word of the Lord. By saying the truth, being honest and living the life Christ said we should live.

It encourages me to see my project as an experiment which I will learn from what I observed.

It made me understand how things work in life. you have to give before you can receive. While learning new stuff we have to do things and learn at the same time.

Finally, God is perfect and he wants us to keep improving on our weaknesses and become better. He knows our weakness and he wants us to overlook our weakness and work for Him. So don't say, I cannot do anything, just do it. Let the weak say “I am strong.”

5. My Top 3 Quotes.

“His purpose for your life predates your conception. He planned it before you existed, without your input! You may choose your career, your spouse, your hobbies, and many other parts of your life, but you don’t get to choose your purpose.”

“Nothing matters more than knowing God's purposes for your life, nothing can compensate for not knowing them.”

“Trusting God completely means having faith that he knows what is best for your life.”
