5 laws of giving and receiving.

5 laws of giving and receiving.

In this article we are going to explore five laws every successful person knows and applies.  Everybody wants to be successful but no one wants to pay the price. The secret key behind success is "giving". To be successful you have to master this skill which is giving. Relax, in this article we are going to go through 5 laws necessary to be successful.

"Giving" That‘s the secret to success, and Trade Secret.  Some people will laugh when they hear that the secret to success is giving. The majority of people operate with the "give me" mindset, "First give me, then I will give back." The whole difficulty lies on who will give first. I have this mindset also but after I read the mindset and go giver, I started learning and creating a new perspective that "giving" is the most important act in my life. As it is written you have received freely and freely shall you give Matthew 10:8

I recommend you to read the "go giver" by Bob burg and John David mann.

The book explains the secret of success. How successful people keep their focus on what they‘re giving, sharing, whatever, and that‘s what creates their success.

What you focus on is what you get.

Some examples of what you focus on is what you get. "It‘s true, and not only about trouble. It‘s true about everything. Go looking for conflict, and you‘ll find it. Go looking for people to take advantage of you, and they generally will. See the world as a dog-eat-dog place, and you‘ll always find a bigger dog looking at you as if you‘re his next meal.

Go looking for the best in people, and you‘ll be amazed at how much talent, ingenuity, empathy and good will you‘ll find. ―Ultimately, the world treats you more"

I want you to test every Law you learn from this article, and be like an inquirer who tries out what he learned. The act of applying this to your life will expose you to more knowledge about it. Whereby you can verify and explore more to yourself. Not by thinking about it, not by talking about it, but by applying it to your life.

The First Law  THE LAW OF VALUE

Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.

My greatest value is the act of seeking, craving and longing to give value to people without expecting anything in return.

I learnt to build my values on something special so It will guide my thoughts. After read this lovely  book, I ask myself this question, what do I value most? I started writing down my values and what I always strive to have: 1. To be one of the best writer that will positively transform the world.

2. To be determined to give much more value or give something other people will benefit from…

I learnt that my true worth is determined by how much more I give in value rather than what I take in payment. I want to attach my value to what I give rather than what I take in payment because "we make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give".

Focus on giving value and not on how much you will make money. I learnt that wealth, like happiness, is never attained when sought after directly; it comes as a product of providing a useful service.  I will always ask this question before I think on how to make money out of it. Does it serve? Does it add value to others?‘ If the answer to that question is yes, then I can go ahead and ask, Does it make money?

This is my new  perspective on how I should see life or how I should cognitively interpret the act of giving " To give Because I love to. Giving should not be a strategy for getting more,  it should be my way of life."  We always use giving as a tool to be recognized or receive external things. I am also a victim of this.  We always hold this scripture as a point of reference "give and you shall receive"  that makes us see giving as a strategy to receive. Pls don't misunderstand me, I am not saying that when you give you will not receive but we should not attach giving to receiving. So you can tell yourself I'm giving because I love it, because I have compassion, pity or empathy. I am doing this for the love of God. So when you get something, accept It as a blessing and not as a result of your effort.

The Second Law  THE LAW OF COMPENSATION

Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them.

In a nutshell is the Second Law, the Law of Compensation: ―Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them. Or to put it another way, Your compensation is directly proportional to how many lives you touch. Stay quietly, give yourself a chance to let the Law sink in.

Most people spend their entire lives focusing on survival on a day job. A smaller number focus on saving. But those rare few who are truly successful—not just financially, but genuinely successful in all aspects of their lives -- keep their focus squarely on serving.

Most of the wealthy and successful people have something in common: they focus on serving and giving value to people almost free of charge. People like Mark Zuckerberg,  the founder and CEO of meta, Jeff Bezos, the founder of amazon, bill Gate, the founder of Microsoft and so on…

They began to work with nonprofits. They are philanthropists and spend most of their time negotiating large contracts on behalf of worldwide charities.  They had already amassed billions of dollars from their establishment — more by far than anyone else in history.  They started almost out of nothing but their goal was to serve, solve people's problems and give value. It had become pivotal to their success.

The idea of giving more in value than we take in payments is indispensable and it can pave your way to success. Change your focus from seeing what I could get to what I could give.

You can start your own journey by giving value. Building  "networks''. Network doesn't necessarily mean your customers or clients. I mean a network of people who know you, like you and trust you. They might never buy a thing from you, but they‘ve always got you in the backs of their minds. They‘re people who are personally invested in seeing you succeed, you see and of course, that‘s because you think the same way about them. They‘re your army of personal walking ambassadors.

The Third Law  THE LAW OF INFLUENCE.

"Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first."

Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people‘s interests first. repeat it slowly. ―Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people‘s interests first.

" if you place the other person‘s interests first, your interests will always be taken care of. Always. Some people call it enlightened self-interest. Watch out for what other people need, with the faith that when you do, you‘ll get what you need. If you asked most people what creates influence, what would they say?

They love to give. That‘s why they‘re attractive. Givers attract."

The Fourth Law  THE LAW OF AUTHENTICITY.

The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself.

You just love what you do. You love talking with people, asking them questions, learning all about them, finding ways you can help them, serve them, fill a need, share a resource…

"At this instant, all over the globe, all of humanity is breathing in oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide. So is the rest of the animal kingdom. And right now, at this instant, all over the globe, the billions and billions of organisms of the plant kingdom are doing the exact opposite—they‘re breathing in carbon dioxide and breathing out oxygen. Their giving is our receiving, and our giving is their receiving. ―In fact, every giving can happen only because it is also a receiving. Everything in life is a trade off, when you give and will receive."

The Fifth Law THE LAW OF RECEPTIVITY.

The key to effective giving  is to stay open to receiving.

So the secret to success is to gain it, to have it, is to give!, give!, give!. The secret to getting is giving. And the secret to giving is making yourself open to receiving.―What would you call it? The Law of Receptivity.
